KEEP IT FREE!

MotorCityRock.com is one of the city's finest resources for info on the Detroit rock scene and bands that came out of the area between 1980 and '90. To help pay for the site, founder John Patrick has organized a "Keep It Free" benefit concert tomorrow night (Sept. 15) at the Hayloft Liquor Stand in Mt. Clemens. The Stingrays headline the show, joined by the Sillies, singer/guitarist David Neil Cline, Sweet Crystal and an additional band yet to be announced.

Again, that's MotorCityRock.com, not to be confused with MotorCityRocks.com (as the Free Press did earlier this week), also an excellent site when it comes to the history of Detroit Rock City. Hey, how many cities can claim one site, let alone two?
