Happy birthday to Fred "Sonic" Smith, born 58 years ago today.

[Patti] talked about how her next New York performance, this Friday at the Beacon, falls on the birthday of her late husband (and MC5 guitarist) Fred "Sonic" Smith, who died in 1994 at the age of 45.
