Kate was stressed enough about her band, work, family, and friendships. Then a demon showed up. Now it’s worse. Taking influence from the zombie comedy of Shaun of the Dead and the noir comedy of The Nice Guys, Serenity Curse inserts comedy into the psychological horror of films like Jacob’s Ladder and It Follows. It tackles heavy subjects like depression with enough levity to make you laugh, enough heart to make you cry, and enough demonic possession to make you grip your armrest. Content Warning: Play contains violence, themes of depression and self-harm. N/A

Written across the walls above and around the memorial, a statement proclaims Anishinaabe rights to the land we stand on: “You are on Anishinaabe Land.” 734-764-0395
