A weird month for Dangerously Delicious Pies concluded with owner Rodney Henry choosing to permanently close all his Detroit locations.

Eater reports that Henry confirmed that he is pulling out of Detroit. Dangerously Delicious was founded in Baltimore and previously ran six locations nationwide.

In August, Henry announced that he had temporarily closed Dangerously Delicious's Midtown store and permanently shuttered the Wyandotte location. He parted ways with most of his staff at his Detroit and Wyandotte stores and said all parties seem to be happy, though some former employees tell Metro Times that they disagree with Henry's assessment of the situation.

He planned to hire all new staff in Midtown and reopen on Aug. 31, but those plans appear to have changed.

Henry also planned a location in The Ghost Light in Hamtramck, but he said that fell through a day after a story announcing the new location ran. It appears Henry and Ghost Light's owners had some sort of disagreement that killed the plans.
