Mar 16, 2016 at 1:00 am

Made at Canada's longest continuously owned and operated distillery in Collingwood, Ontario, in Georgian Bay, Collingwood Canadian Whisky perfectly embodies the vigorous Canadian spirit and landscape. It's uniquely made with carefully selected ingredients by local artisans that honor the traditions of the historic distillery.

The product they churn out is a full-flavored and complex whiskey that's as delicious on the rocks as it is in a refreshing cocktail. It has a sweet aroma with hints of vanilla and butterscotch with a nice fruit character. Its flavor is creamy and nicely complex with notes of maple syrup, marzipan, and it finished long and sweet with a floral and malt whiskey character.

Have we sold you yet?

If that wasn't enough to convince you, perhaps the accolades this whiskey has won will. In 2015 Wine Enthusiast called it a "Best Buy" and in 2014 it garnered 92 points in the Ultimate Spirits Challenge, nabbing a spot in the finals. The same year Spirit Journal gave it four stars, strongly recommending its readers to pick up a bottle ASAP.

Enjoy Collingwood Canadian Whisky in classic cocktails with a twist. You can try a Tom Collingwood by mixing the whiskey with simple syrup, lemon juice, and soda water. Create a dry Manhattan with a splash of extra dry vermouth and three dashes of orange bitters. Or mix it with three ounces of ginger beer and lime for a Collingwood Canadian Mule.
