Beloved daughter of Detroit Alice Coltrane's giant L.A. area estate for sale for $5 mil

Have you always wanted to own an ashram/ estate in the Los Angeles area that was once owned by the Detroit-born, classical harp-playing, spiritual jazz master Alice Coltrane (1937-2007)? Silly question, I know — who hasn't? Born Alice McLeaod and raised in Detroit, she was trained in harp at Cass Tech by the venerable Velma Froud (who also taught Dorothy Ashby and Zeena Parkins — more on Ms. Froud soon as I'm working on a big article about her).
We learned of the listing last week via a post on Curbed. It's billed on the realtor's site as a "47 Acre Campsite/Corporate Retreat/Equestrian Center/Nature Sanctuary" but was built as an ashram to allow fellow acolytes of Indian guru Sathya Sai Baba to worship and congregate there on the expansive property. The listing notes that there are 6 beds, 4 baths, a total living space of 5,000 feet, and a lot size of 2,048,348 square feet. That is a lot of undeveloped, natural land right there.
Curbed reports that "the still-active Sai Anantam Ashram has been a center for the study of the Vedic scriptures, one of a series of buildings and residences on the property, as well as a musical retreat and recording space."
