A fourth “object” has turned up at the Great Lakes Water Authority wastewater treatment plant in Detroit, the Detroit Free Press reports. Two suspected organs or anatomical “tissues” were found on Dec. 14 and 15 and with a third finding just last week.
The GLWA has yet to determine what the objects are, all of which turned up in the same screening area of the plant. The screening area is responsible for filtering debris before the water is treated and processed.

As MT previously reported, the Wayne County Medical Examiner's office is investigating the objects to determine whether they are in fact organs and if further investigation is required.
