As we reported last week, Ann Arbor's forgotten boy Iggy Pop got together with Queens of the Stone Age front dude Josh Homme to record a collaborative album, Post Pop Depression, which is out on March 18.

This morning, the pair announced a slew of tour dates — 20 in all, including shows overseas — and thankfully Mr. Pop will bring the tour to home turf, with a show at the Fox Theatre on April 7. Tickets ($39.95, $59.95, $75.95 and whew, $115.95) go on sale Saturday, January 30 at 10 a.m. at OlympiaEntertainment.com and LiveNation.com.

Pop and Homme will be joined on the road by bassist Matt Sweeney (Endless Boogie, Chavez, Bonnie Prince Billy), guitarist/keyboardist Dean Fertita (QOTSA, Dead Weather), guitarist Troy Van Leeuwen (QOTSA) and drummer Matt Helders (Arctic Monkeys).

This is probably going to actually be way more awesome than it should be.
