AVANTI! Summer MusicFest, is a classical music week long day-camp for youth ages 13-18. This week-long program provides ae lineup of extensive study of band and orchestra repertoire, expanded even further by sectionals, side-by-side performances, and private lesson opportunities by renowned Detroit Symphony Orchestra Musicians. Music making is focused in large ensembles - orchestra, wind symphony, and all students will participate in a massed chorus. AVANTI students take part in enrichment classes such as career path/college readiness, introduction to conducting, music production, performance presentation, audition preparation, and yoga for musicians. The AVANTI Summer MusicFest culminates with a FINALE performance. Tuition for the six-day workshop is $375, and non-refundable registration fee is $40
