This October, luxury fashion brand Bottega Veneta will display its spring 2022 collection in Detroit. In the meantime, here are some brands and designers that are rooted in the Motor City. Detroit’s fashion scene has made its mark on fashion around the world, and these brands and designers have helped contribute to it.

Detroit vs. Everybody

Detroit vs. Everybody was founded in 2012 by proud Detroit native Tommey Walker. The brand’s merchandise is all manufactured in Detroit and proceeds often go to local charitable causes, such as local small businesses hurt by the COVID-19 pandemic. As part of its Gucci Changemakers’ initiative, Gucci recently collaborated with Walker on a launch of limited-edition “vs. Everybody” T-shirts.
