Anyone with any proximity to kids (and OK, grown-ass kids at heart, too) is likely aware of Fortnite, the latest video game sensation that's sweeping the nation. The multiplayer online game is downright addictive, and many Michigan kids spent this summer in their parents' basements shooting zombies and blowing each other up.

So that's why the staff at Reese Public Schools outside of Saginaw are preparing to ease kids back into the real world, changing the school sign to read "Fortnite detox begins at 8:00 a.m. Monday." See kids: the RPS staff is hip!

The staff might be kidding themselves, though. The game can be played on consoles as well as those already addictive mobile phones, so it's unlikely they're going to get kids to cut their Fortnite habits cold turkey.
