Ask a Juggalo: What did J and Shaggy think about the city of Windsor?

Q: Growing up in Detroit, what did J and Shaggy think about the city of Windsor?

A: Wow. You know, that's a question that would probably be best put right to them. This is what I can speak on, though: They must not have disliked it too much, because, in the very beginning, some of the cats that made me feel very welcome in the early '90s were actually from southwest Windsor. ICP was very popular with these guys in the early '90s, so I can only imagine that they cared for the area because they did have a following, and that goes right to the very beginning. For sure, in 1999, when they released Jeckel Brothers, they had a record release party in downtown Windsor. That was a hell of a lot of fun. That night was awesome. I fired up my '64 Chevy Impala, got drunk as hell; I wasn't even 21. Me and one of my best friends hopped in the '64 and we sure as shit went across the water to a nightclub there in southwest Windsor and they had the Amazing Jeckel Brothers party. Now, ICP did not come, but they made sure to fill the place with a bunch of giveaways and it was a hell of a good time. I forgot about that. Wow.
