Put another dime in the jukebox, baby — 'cause Joan Jett & the Blackhearts were just announced as the headliner for this year's end of the summer Ford Arts, Beats, and Eats celebration that happens in Royal Oak.
Along with the badass majesty that is Joan Jett, other headliners include One Tree Hill theme song crooner Gavin DeGraw, rock band Our Lady Peace, The Voice contestant Laith Al Saadi, country star Cole Swindell, and local indie pop groups Flint Eastwood and Jr. Jr.
Along with these national touring acts, there are six(!!) other stages that will playing music from every genre under the sun. Local favorites like Jill Jack and the Killer Flamingos will be taking the stage, too.
Ford Arts, Beats, and Eats will run over Labor Day Weekend, September 2-5 in Royal Oak. And in case you were wondering, Joan Jett plays Friday, September 2 at 8 p.m. See you there!
