So it turns out that you actually cannot get legal pot delivered to you at Water Tower Sports Pub in Lexington.
The business owners announced later on Tuesday that the Marijuana Regulatory Agency had informed them that the plan was a no-go due to rules about where marijuana can be delivered.

Earlier today Freddie’s issued a press release, shown below, announcing a partnership with Water Tower Sports Pub in Lexington to allow customers to pick up their marijuana orders at the restaurant. We have since learned from the Marijuana Regulatory Agency that, contrary to our earlier understanding, all deliveries must be made to the customer’s residence. Therefore, Freddie’s is unable to deliver to Water Tower Sports Pub.
We apologize for the error, but Freddie’s will be making amends.
Freddie’s will be expanding their delivery to the Lexington and Port Huron areas under the same terms mentioned in the earlier press release and any customer placing an order to be delivered to their residence will receive a $10 coupon to the Water Tower Sports Pub.
“We are sorry we can’t deliver to the Water Tower Sports Pub,” Barry Goodman, Freddie’s owner said. “While this is unfortunate, we will go ahead with delivery to the Lexington area.”
“Water Tower Sports Pub was fantastic to work with and we want to keep that relationship going,” Goodman added. “They have an outstanding restaurant with a great menu.”
“Any customer ordering Freddie’s home delivery in the Lexington and Port Huron areas will receive a $10 coupon to Water Tower Sports Pub,” Goodman stated. “We are committed to the community and to our partner. Pizza and pot are a great combination.”

Water Tower Sports Pub is a bar in Lexington in Michigan's Thumb known for its craft beers and Detroit-style pizza.
And now, it's partnered with Freddie's, a Clio-based recreational marijuana store, to offer legal pot to customers, too.
The service, believed to be the first of its kind in Michigan, starts on Friday, Aug. 21 and will continue on Fridays after that.
"We encourage anyone in the Thumb area to stop by Water Tower Sports Pub on Fridays for a bite to eat and then pick up some high-quality marijuana to enjoy at home," the owners said in a statement. "If all goes well, we hope to add other delivery days in the near future."
They added, "Pizza and pot are a great combination."
We can confirm this is true.
Orders must be placed two or more days ahead of time on Freddie's website and must be at least $150. No medical marijuana card is needed — per Michigan law, customers just need to be age 21 or older.
