After a six-year hiatus, traveling circus company The Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey is back. The family-friendly experience will begin a tour through North America, stopping in Detroit with six performances at Little Caesars Arena from Nov. 17-19.

The show will be a reimagined version of Ringling’s “The Greatest Show On Earth,” featuring 75 performers from 18 countries.

A press release for the event promises an “immersive, live, family entertainment experience unlike anything audiences have ever seen, filled with incredible feats that push the limits of human potential.”

Various circus acts will include never-before-seen stunts and comedic performances, as well as a playground of extreme athletes and a criss-cross trapeze.

Wesley Williams, a Guinness World Record-setting performer known as the One Wheel Wonder, will attempt to set a new world record, riding unicycles at heights as high as 34 feet in the air.

The show will also feature live musical performances, some of which will need the help of the audience.

People have protested against The Ringling Bros. and other circus companies in the past for harmfully utilizing animals in their performances. In its absence, the circus has retooled its show without the use of animals.

Detroit showtimes are Friday, Nov. 17 at 7 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 18 at 11 a.m., 3 p.m., and 7 p.m., and Sunday, Nov. 19 at 11 a.m. or 3 p.m. Tickets are available to purchase at ticketmaster.com.
