We’ve never been clocked in the head with a rake but we can imagine it smarts some. Hence, a 51-year-old foreman at Michigan Outdoor Services has our undying sympathy because he got clobbered in a manner that necessitated 41 stitches and a head brace. All because 51-year-old Lewis Paris didn’t want to work.
Dude.
The Macomb Daily reported today that on Aug. 2 at Chesterfield and Edgewood in Ferndale, Paris and his foreman argued, pushed and shoved. Moments later the boss stepped away and Paris grabbed one of those gnarly wooden cement rakes and whacked him on the back of the head. Boss hit the ground and Paris split. Work canceled.
The foreman filed a police report and a felonious assault charge later, Paris is free on bond and was due in Ferndale court today.
