Seminal rockers The Who will be stopping by Detroit with brand new material this spring as the "My Generation" rockers perform new songs from the group's forthcoming album.

The “Moving On!” tour will begin on May 7 in Grand Rapids and will see the classic rock band head to Detroit on Tuesday, May 28 to support the group's first album in thirteen years. The band’s upcoming performance at Little Caesars Arena will welcome The Who back to Detroit for the first time since 2016 when they performed at Joe Louis Arena. The band first visited the metro Detroit area way back in 1967 when they performed at Southfield High School, and have a long history of playing in the area, including several performances at the Grande Ballroom, Cobo Hall, the Masonic Temple, and more.

The Who’s fan club pre-sale tickets will start Wednesday, Jan. 16 at 10 a.m. and will end Thursday, Jan. 17 at 10 p.m. General presale tickets for the event will go on sale Friday, January 18 at 10 a.m.

Doors for the event will open at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, May 28 at Little Caesars Arena; 2645 Woodward Ave., Detroit; 313-471-7000; 313presents.com; Tickets are $59+
