Awesome bands from around the country do remember to stop through our town! I know it once was (or continues to be) quasi-popular consensus that touring bands from hipper national hubs like Chicago, or Austin or Portland or Montreal or ...Iceland... will skim by Detroit for various reasons.

Well, in case you missed it, Thrill Jockey's post-rock maestros Brokeback joined the recently rebooted local post-punk trio Javelins, last night in Hamtramck.
