Singer R. Kelly is doing a special New Year's Eve concert at the Fox this December 31. Tickets ($49, $89, $129 and $175) go on sale Friday, December 18 at 10 a.m. and can be purchased at OlympiaEntertainment.com,

NOTE: This here is just a news item announcing his show; it's not an article or some kind of think piece. I do feel it's important to state that after reading of the myriad sexual assault allegations against the singer, as expertly reported by both Jim DeRogatis and Jessica Hopper, I myself can no longer enjoy his music. At all. I urge others to be as informed as possible about him. I wish this stuff were not true, but it really seems to be, especially when one learns of the singer's reaction to such allegations.

The man is clearly a total musical genius. But how he has evaded being treated the way we all treat Bill Cosby these days is beyond me.
