Get ready to kick it back to 1776 — the historical hip-hop sensation Hamilton is coming to Detroit, and ticket sales have been announced.

Since its debut in 2015, Lin-Manuel Miranda's Tony Award-winning musical biography of founding father Alexander Hamilton has been one of the hottest (and priciest) tickets in town. Hell, even cancellation lines have become a rite of passage. For Detroit, the wait is over. Well, sort of.

Tickets for Detroit's Hamilton engagement at the Fisher Theatre (March 12-April 21), are currently available through Ticketmaster's Verified Fan program which allows people to pre-register for the chance to "unlock access to tickets" without bots and bloodshed.

The Verified Fan registration begins today and will close Wednesday, Jan. 23 at 10 p.m. Those who register will be notified on Thursday, Jan. 24 if they have been selected. In other words, registration does not guarantee that you'll receive an access code to snag tickets and even if you are one of the selected lucky ducks, tickets are still available by a first-come, first-served basis on Friday, Jan. 25.

Tickets range from $80-$185 with select premium seats available for $485. There will also be a limited lottery for $10 seats closer to the performances, and some tickets will be made available for purchase via a wristband lottery at the Fisher Theatre box office from 7:30 a.m. - 9:30 a.m. on Friday, Jan. 25.

To register, visit the Ticketmaster website here. For more information and detailed FAQ visit the Fisher Theatre.
