The look of the club is tastefully chic. Upscale yet unpretentious appears to be Panacea’s goal. Keeping the existing Detroit architecture intact, while imposing minimalistic style was a fine plan. It earned the club an honorary AIA (American Institute of Architects) design award. There is also an award from International Club Install for Panacea's amazing sound and lighting system With an impressive roster of local DJs holding forth, Panacea seeks to be nothing less than Detroit’s world-class venue for substantive dance music.

The club caters to an eclectic mix of young professionals and college clubgoers ages 21-35.
