Zingerman's is not only that fabulous, if not pricey deli in Ann Arbor, frequented by President Barack Obama. We all know it's also a bakery and has that Roadhouse diner. Its latest venture though is Cornman Farms in Dexter, a beautifully rustic country venue, where one can find the ideal space for a big ol' wedding, complete with spacious grounds and a rural aesthetic (giant red barn, herd of goats and flock of chickens and sprawling garden).
Come Sept. 24, the farm will open up for exclusive tours as part of Zingerman's Brides Project Farm Dinner, a fundraiser in support of the Cancer Support Community of Greater Ann Arbor. The ticketed event begins at 5:15 p.m., with a behind-the-scenes tour of the grounds, followed by a cocktail hour and lawn games and then dinner at 7 p.m.On the menu will be seasonal offerings made with home-grown produce from the garden, all with views the farm.
