Dominican Literacy Center Presents 5th Annual Spelling Bee Fundraiser

The Dominican Literacy Center in Detroit presents its 5th Annual Spelling Bee Fundraiser. Co-hosted by the executive director of ARISE Detroit!, Luther Keith, and the host of Michigan Radio’s All Things Considered, Rebecca Kruth, this fierce competition features some of the best adult spellers in the area and also serves as a key fundraising activity for the Center. Guests will enjoy entertainment by Moth Storyteller Dame Wilburn, as well as Mediterranean food, wine and more. All funds raised will support the Center's basic needs such as books, teaching materials, technology, community outreach, and staff.
