The Preservation of Jazz Proudly Presents Summer Music Workshop / Concert Series 11 time DMA Recipient for “Outstanding Jazz Vocalist”, and DBMA recipient for “ Best Jazz Vocalist”, Native-Detroiter, singer and songwriter, Sky Covington, known for her vocal delivery and improvisational skills. will discuss music, family and career. Also, sharing some jewels on putting a production together and dressing room back stories. Sky Covington will perform some jazz. Dinner will be served included with the ticket price. This workshop series will also feature special speakers/ vocalist and musicians all summer long.
