Detroit Bureau of Sound presents: HYBRID I w/ Brandon LePage (flute) and Yuri Popowycz (violin/electronics)

Our first HYBRID concert brings together classical music for the flute and contemporary improvisation for the violin. Flutist, Brandon LePage, takes us back in time with Classical and Baroque music from the 17th and 18th centuries. Joining him on the program is Yuri Popowycz, the violinist from the prestigious Oberlin Conservatory. Yuri is a skilled performer of modern music, and is a thoughtful improvisor and composer. With some music by John Cage.
