It's that time of year again — pumpkin pie season. For this scrumptious seasonal dessert, you don't have to settle for a packaged, store-bought pie, as there are many versions of the sweet treat at restaurants, bakeries, and pastry shops all over metro Detroit. Whether you want your pumpkin pie covered in pecans, made with heavy cream for extra creaminess, or including a layer of cheesecake, metro Detroit has something for everyone.
