TechTown hosts an important seminar for aspiring business owners in Detroit

Business is booming in Detroit. New retail spots seem to pop up once a week. Some are fledgling businesses, while others are just getting around to opening a brick-and-mortor store. Either way, running a successful retail location is no easy feat, and TechTown, "Detroit's business innovation hub," wants to help.

Tomorrow night, the business accelerator and incubator will host a seminar that'll surely impart some important knowledge on new business owners. The Retail Space Selection and Design Seminar takes place tomorrow night from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.

The seminar promises two separate panel discussions that will educate new or aspiring business owners in the city of Detroit. The first panel will address concerns about finding and acquiring the right space while the second panel will discuss how to properly design the space for an appealing aesthetic that remains true to the brand.

The event is free, but you can register here. TechTown is located at 440 Burroughs St., Detroit.
