Las Vegas disco-house singer Shamir will get you moving at El Club

After a psychotic episode and a break-up from his label, 23-year-old Las Vegas singer-songwriter Shamir had considered quitting music altogether. Instead, he recorded 2017’s Hope over a weekend and released it via Soundcloud. And after his bipolar diagnosis, he spent the next two weeks recording Revelations — an appropriately named new start for the androgynous disco-house singer. Shamir, whose stylistic tendencies lean toward pop diva and early Michael Jackson, has found a sweet spot that is bound to get sweeter and a whole lot more real.
