Celebrate 'World Wide Knit in Public Day' at Savvy Chic

June 18 is World Wide Knit in Public Day, and Savvy Chic in Eastern Market is getting ready to unspool a celebration. 

From 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. you can celebrate the holiday with fellow knitters downtown. "Let's enjoy knitting together and creating art," the event description reads. 

There will be knitting, crocheting, and arm knit classes throughout the day.

Here's everything you need to know: 

• Bring your own lawn chair and water. 
  
• Refreshments will be avaliable for purchase.
  
• Be prepared to knit rain or shine, there will be a tent.
