The name might not strike a chord, but we are certain that the voice of comedian turned author H. Jon Benjamin should sound pretty damn familiar. Most known for his monotone, deadpan delivery on the animated series Bob’s Burgers and FX’s Archer, Benjamin will be discussing his latest endeavor that makes use of his unique voice: his memoir. To celebrate the recent release Failure Is an Option: An Attempted Memoir, the comedian will discuss how he flipped failure into fame, and why such path is paved in humility and humor. Like cooking the perfect burger, success takes time and attention to detail. And you know, a dead cow.

H. Jon Benjamin will read on Friday, May 4 at the Michigan Theater; Doors open at 8 p.m.; 603 E. Liberty St., Ann Arbor; 734-668-8397; michtheater.org; Tickets start at $34.50.
