A recent column by Larry Gabriel, Tying it all together, included a description of a problem-solving exercise involving ropes hanging from a ceiling and a riddle of how to tie them together. A metapher for the kind of creative thinking that Detroiters are going to puzzle through a vision for the city's future. Most of us around the office thought the explanation was pretty clear, but just in case — and because we saw him act this out once before — we asked him to illustrate for us in this short video.
