Urban alehouse

If you never had a reason to wander the streets of Rivertown before, the Stoney Creek Brewing Company could give you a few. Located on Joseph Campau, just two blocks north of the river, the restaurant/brewpub provides 10 beers on tap, spacious seating and diversions galore: pool, electronic darts, video games, and big screen TVs on game nights. Working professionals come for the extensive lunch menu, which includes everything from thin-crust pizza to home-style meat loaf, while the younger crowd comes out in the evenings to sample the likes of Double Chocolate Ale and Atwater Hell. Ample seating lets patrons choose among bar stools, tables and comfy booths, while the high ceilings, exposed brick wall and hardwood floors give it a great urban feel. And just in case you are one of the last few people who are leery of microbrews, the friendly staff is always willing to let you sample first.
