Most of us know Andre Drummond as the center for the Detroit Pistons. He's an all-star caliber player who is a monster on the boards, currently leading the NBA in rebounding, and has become the face of the franchise.

In the midst of injury setbacks, a losing record, and a move to Little Caesars Arena, we've watched the team struggle with their identity this season. But, Drummond may have a new one emerging.

On Thursday, Jan. 25, Jason Torres from Middletown, Ct., who goes by Tailz on Soundcloud, posted a new song to his account, titled "Clout." The track features a huge trap beat and a feature from Dre Drumm — the rap alter ego of Andre Drummond.

The song is no "Bad and Boujee" but the mix is professional and the hook is decent. Don't expect Drummond to give up his day job to pursue a rap career... yet.

"Slowly but surely I've been putting stuff on my SoundCloud page," Drummond told Billboard in a recent interview that discussed his music and love for hip-hop. "Obviously, I still play basketball. So, I don't want people to get it twisted and think that I'm more focused on music than I am on basketball."

This new song isn't Drummond's first time behind the mic — he's been featured on tracks before and has his own Dre Drumm Soundcloud profile with a half dozen freestyles posted, including one over an instrumental for TLC's "No Scrubs."

Pistons fans have complained about Drummond's maturity on and off the court since he was drafted from the University of Connecticut in 2012. With so much effort being put into his music, fans may wonder why Drummond isn't putting in more work on his game.
