Introducing JazzWorks: Michael Malis and Marcus Elliot

JazzWorks explores new musical work by accomplished Detroit jazz artists, presented in the intimate concert setting of Schaver Recital Hall on the WSU campus. This inaugural JazzWorks concert features compositions and improvisations by saxophonist Marcus Elliot and pianist Michael Malis, with special guests. Known collectively as “Balance,” Michael and Marcus will perform as a duo, and each will also separately present a brand new composition with their own ensembles.
