Choral Music for Lent

Our next CCS concert features our own Cathedral Choir and organist Christine Westbury under the director of Horst Buchholz. The program will present two rarely heard masterpieces, the Stabat Mater in a setting by German Romantic composer Joseph Rheinberger, and the Missa Quadragesimae (Mass in time of Lent) by the Austrian Michael Haydn. Hymns to our Savior on the Cross and a reflection by Fr. JJ Mech will complete this special Lenten musical meditation. This event is FREE and open to the public. Come and bring a friend.
