Six-time Grammy-Award winning blues icon, Buddy Guy will be appearing with special guest Eric Johnson at the Meadow Brook Music Festival on this Wednesday. With a career spanning over 50 years and what seems like the same number of albums in his discography, Guy has won six Grammys, 28 Blues Music Awards, Kennedy Center Honors, NARM Chairman’s Award for sustained Creative Achievement, Billboard Music Award’s Century Award for distinguished artistic development and many high honor awards, including an induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
