Brewing Kombucha

Better Health Store will host kombucha brewing classes at two of its metro Detroit locations, as part of its regular series of seminars on various health topics. Kombucha is a widely popular beverage containing nutrients that provide many health benefits. It is created through a process of effervescent fermentation of sweetened teas that has been around for thousands of years. Ypsilanti, Mich.-based Unity Vibration, known for its handmade kombucha teas and beer, will lead the “Brewing Kombucha” classes. Attendees are asked to bring a large mason jar or other glass jar to receive their culture and recipe.
