This quaint Brazilian cartoon follows Cuca as he enjoys the quiet wonder of living in the countryside until his father leaves for the city and his little life is shattered. As he travels to the city in hopes of reuniting his family, the film takes a turn. The story is told through stunning visuals paired with the rich sounds of samba and Brazilian hip-hop — there’s absolutely no dialogue. This flick is as much for adults as it is for children.
