Diversified Members Credit Union Championship Races
@ Lexus Velodrome Detroit, 601 Mack Avenue
Races will start at 7:30 p.m. each of the two evenings at the Velodrome, a 64,000-square-foot facility showcasing a one-tenth-mile (166-meter) cycling track with 50-degree banking. Competition will include scratch, elimination, relay and endurance races. Racers will peddle speeds up to 40 M.P.H. on bikes that have no brakes.
