Honest John's sold

Our readers are familiar with Cass Corridor watering hole Honest John's. Metro Times' Burger Quest team went there not a few weeks ago. Well, there's big news afoot, as the joint has been sold by owner John Thompson to the Kwiatkowski brothers, owners of Wright & Co. downtown and the Sugar House in Corktown. There are no plans to give the place an overhaul, but the Kwiatkowskis are known for their energy and their knack for working well with other business owners, so we're bound to see a new energy there. Best of luck to the Kwiatkowskis and to Thompson, who is retiring to take care of his ailing wife.
