Ask a Juggalo: Do you guys hate Eminem?

Q: Don't Juggalos hate Eminem?

A: To be honest with you, once upon a time that was something very real and very serious, especially the late '90s. Basically, it was just Eminem being very jealous of the clowns, who, in his opinion, were far less talented than he. But that's a matter of opinion, brother, because these guys literally made a million dollars slinging T-shirts out their truck. There's numerous stories that Violent J has made very clear, like, let's say in '94: Kid Rock's album comes out and he's claiming to the clowns that he sold, let's say, 60,000 copies. But the truth was he'd only sold 5,000 copies. But the clowns — Ringmaster at the time would have been their comparable CD at the time — were legitimately at 60,000 units sold and here Kid Rock is just bullshitting saying, "Hey, my sales are this." Come to find out, their sales were 10 times the amount of Kid Rock's. Same thing when Eminem was first coming out. Basically that was Eminem's caper. But the hatchet got buried, no pun intended, mid-2000s, if you will. We're going on almost 10 years of no beef or everybody being a bit more grown-up. And now on Eminem's most recent album that came out, he makes it very clear on how he feels. He, in a very respectful way, name-drops ICP multiple times on the album, even saying he's like a mix of Tyler the Creator and Violent J. He couldn't possibly give them a bigger praise or compliment. So there is no beef anymore and there hasn't been for lord knows how long. Actually, that's a pretty stale topic. To me, it's all good.
