Across the Detroit River (over or under, it's your choice), just south of the Motor City, you'll wander around 'til you get to the Art Gallery of Windsor -- 401 Riverside Drive West. Worthy of a trip year round, the current exhibition will surely pique your Detroit-lovin'-artful-interest through July 5 as curators Mathieu Beausejour, David Diviney and Dr. Lee Rodney put their fingers on the pulse of both Windsor and Detroit's art scenes for the annual Biennial.

To keep the show fresh, they promise new work from all the artists involved. Thanks, Canada! Expect to see work acorss all realms: painting, photography, sculpture, you name it.

Hundreds submit their work each year, but a lucky few are chosen -- 14 to be specific. This year, five Ann Arborites, Melanie Manos, Sarah Bukias, Chris McNamara and Danielle Abrams will join Detroiters Dennis Michael Jones and Brian Barr.

It's spring -- shake the winter blues, get outta the house and head down Woodward 'til you hit the tunnel.
