The designers of Detroit Respect and The Paper Dress Code are collaborating in an innovative way to debut their spring collections.

No need to find your flyest attire for this event because the only way to see the show is via Facebook, which means 1. it's free and 2. you can watch the show in your pajamas if you want! Virtual attendees of Detroit Rocks The Runway only need access to the social media site to view their latest designs.

Detroit Respect co-owner Colin McConnell, who is organizing Detroit Rocks The Runway, explained why having a digital fashion show is an idea platform for the brands.

“We wanted to utilize the new Facebook Live feature in a fun way and give the rest of the world the ability to get a peak in on what Detroit is up to.”

“Our online sales are from all over the world so we want to bring the fashion show to them.”

Tune in to the show, which will feature music by Pato Margetic, on Thursday, April 21 at 7:30 EST on www.facebook.com/DetroitRespect
