2016 Kresge Artist Fellowships application cycle opens

Heads up, Detroit's creative class: Kresge Arts in Detroit has opened the application cycle for its 2016 Kresge Artist Fellowships.

The 2016 program will award nine fellowships in two categories: "Film & Music" on film directing, screenwriting, animation, music composition, music performance, and interdisciplinary work. "Live Arts" includes live performing arts including dance, choreography, theatre directing, playwriting, performance art, and interdisciplinary work

The application is open for artists living and working in metro Detroit (Wayne, Oakland and Macomb counties). The application deadline is Thursday, Jan. 21, 2016. More information is available at kresgeartsindetroit.org.
