A reminder to cancel your lunch plans for Monday, because Little Caesars has you covered.

Thanks to a marketing stunt gone deliciously awry, the company owes us all a free lunch — four slices of deep dish pizza and a 20-ounce Pepsi product, to be precise.

Last month, the Little Caesars’ marketing department made a March Madness bet on Twitter, promising in the highly unlikely event that a bottom-seeded team beat a No. 1 seed that night, the pizza chain would offer everyone in the country a free lunch combo.

The stars aligned and against the odds the University of Maryland-Baltimore County defeated the University of Virginia, becoming the first-ever bottom-seeded men’s tournament team to defeat a top-seeded team in the first round.

The pizza chain will offer the deal between 11:30 a.m. and 1 p.m. on Monday, April 2 at participating Little Caesars locations. The offer cannot be redeemed online or through delivery, and orders must be placed before 1 p.m. the same day.
