After an unsuccessful attempt to implode the Pontiac Silverdome on Sunday morning, a second blast has brought the first phase of demolition to completion.

The Freep reports that a second blast was successful and the upper ring of the Silverdome has come down.

Since the Sunday snafu locals have been poking fun at the failed implosion, asking their friends to Throw rocks at the Pontiac Silverdome until it collapses.
