On Wednesday, Steve Bannon — former chief strategist to President Donald Trump, current executive of the alt-right website Breitbart, and well-documented neo-Nazi sympathizer — visited Macomb County to speak at a GOP fundraiser.

Despite Trump’s plummeting popularity and low approval rating, Schuette has spent much of his campaign so far invoking Trump.
