A few days after we published Ari LeVaux’s piece on borscht, along with our accompanying piece on local places that serve the beet-based soup, somebody tugged our ear that we had missed one place: Christine’s Cuisine. We felt bad enough to drop by and see if we could get it. Unfortunately, they weren’t serving it that day. But they tell us it is a beety borscht, with a spoonful of sour cream stirred in. Apologies to Christine’s, and we encourage anybody to try anything there, as all their dishes are at least a cut above the usual!
