We’ve received word that a special two hour tribute to “Pillow Talk” host and on-air personality Alan Almond will air tomorrow (on Friday, June 19th) on 100.3 WNIC, from 7-9 p.m.
In an email, senior VP of programming at the station, Tony Travatto, wrote that they “are building a playlist, using songs from which Alan frequently pulled. We will throw the “normal” WNIC playlist, format and rules out the window to properly pay tribute. Alan’s friends and former co-workers will also be able to talk about their memories of Alan during the tribute.”
Fans should definitely not miss this special on-air radio event.
