There are still tickets to see Rosanne Cash at the Macomb Center for the Performing Arts this Saturday, October 3.

Though based in NYC, there’s no denying that Cash personifies country. The daughter of Johnny Cash (born two months before his “Hey Porter” debut was released on Sun), her 1985 album Rhythm & Romance arguably invented modern country-pop.

Cash and her band will perform her triple Grammy-winning 2014 album, The River and the Thread, an ode to the artist’s Southern roots. Check back with us in a few days when we publish a short but revealing interview with her.

Starts at 7:30 p.m.; 44575 Garfield Rd.; Clinton Twp; 586-286-2222; macombcenter.com; tickets start at $40.
